Production Testing

Ridgeline Production Services

Overview

Gathering and interpreting detailed information during the production life of oil or gas wells is a vital part of the Upstream Petroleum Industry. Each well is unique and requires well specific data to enhance decision making during the life cycle of the well.

Ridgeline Production Services was established in 1978 and has developed a niche market flow-testing sweet gas wells for pipeline tie-in viability and analysis. Additional services include flow testing gas wells after swabbing and incremental production enhancements.

Production Testing Applications

Early on in the life of a gas well, and to enhance producer decision making through the life of the well, accurate measurements are needed of production flow rate for reservoir calculations, well completion, economics, production rates, and abandonment decisions.

Regulatory bodies require testing to determine maximum withdrawal rates and royalty structures. Producers use flow tests to develop field programs, design pipeline facilities, and to evaluate well stimulation programs.

Value

Ridgeline Production Services specializes in timely and accurate flow testing of gas wells. Attention to detail is vital in this market, and Bec-Con is well positioned to meet client requirements.
